I never knew this. I was induced with my last baby, which is my 3rd and it almost led to an emergency c-section because the baby was wrapped in her umbilical cord and we didn’t know it. As I was trying to push her out, her heart rate dropped tremendously to the point that my doctor was going to give me a c-section. But I was determined not to have one and I got her out okay. Once she was out, we discovered she was tangled in her cord. I think mom’s should be warned that labor induction could lead to a c-section because I was not warned at all.
